At the request of many of the new clients in the scrap metal market, we have prepared this brief history of NHI as soon its name will change. We hope that this information helps satisfy that need to know just who NHI is, and how we came to such control of the scrap metal market in such a short period of time.
In 1982, Samuel W. Miller had worked his way up the corporate ladder in military electronics and supercomputing to the board of directors of a small supercomputing company. As a direct result of his efforts, Lucent Technologies was formed with Bell Laboratories with Flexlink International. He had taken his new theories in supercomputer networks and applied them to wireless & satcomm telecommunications to form Standard Wireless Modem Systems where he invested into the hyperchannel research market which is the backbone of today's internet. This is where Network Host's was formed, developing new supercomputer control systems and telecommunication networks with names such as Cray Research and Silicon Graphics. NHI today, still uses its superior digital communication capabilities to manage and control the vast international holdings NHI has acquired.
Sam was never one to sit idle, so he invested in other collateral markets such as fiber optic cable, cellular telephone manufacturing, and raw fiber plants. This led to the worlds largest silica dioxide and titanium dioxide mine in Tacna, Peru. Peruvian Mines was given to Sam, because of his strong business ethics and morality, Sam led the charge for developing the mine which produces over 950 million MTW of 99.9999% pure SiO2 estimated at over $4,000/mtw. Verses keeping the money for himself, he established schools, hospitals, roads and re-investment programs for the Peruvian's via the Ministry of Finance.
Further opportunities existed for NHI, and Sam was soon to see that other areas could be used globally to improve markets and international trade. This ranged from oil industry, diamond mining and now scrap metal by acquiring over 22 yards world wide. He added other holdings such as Network Oceanlines to reduce international shipping costs, and U.S. Jet Airways to provide super secure rapid transportation of high end items and documentation required for financial institutions, corporations and governments.
Network Host's, Inc. is a privately held chapter "C" corporation registered in Florida and New Mexico, but does not perform transactions within the United States of America. NHI does not invest its assets in the United States except for operational expenses of the corporate offices. NHI does not report its international holdings to any form of debt collection agency or allow probing of its accounts or subsidiaries so that they are free to acquire information and assets with complete atomicity. Each sub-division exists on its own without the need of the other to function, yet each share their information via NHI's supercomputers for instant reaction to any request by the other. This makes NHI one of the most powerful companies in the world with the lowest profile. Because of its operational structure, NHI will always exist although its name will often change when Sam leaves the helm of that new division and in its place is a smooth running machine. Again, following the low profile extreme capability model only Sam can build, this new division has taken the controlling interest in the scrap metal market for the sole purpose of establishing equitable trade in a low risk environment for all of the world communities.
Most certainly, other markets exist within the NHI veil that are not disclosed within this or other such reports. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and NHI has always provided a reasonably delegated share of photos. The proof exists within its clients who under contract are forbidden from disclosing its source for the purpose of allowing NHI's divisions to function so they can continue to reap the rewards of this truly dynamic corporation. Never once, has anyone ever been able to show that NHI did not meet a contract or failed to provide the quality materials needed to its clients and never will. NHI is not much on talk, they are led by men of action supported by the fastest and most powerful tools available. From artificially intelligent computer systems to corporate jets - NHI will continue to grow in markets that need its unique capabilities.
